Wesley's Al Ain Experience

So, this is how it went. We finally got the salary statement so we took all of our authenticated documents and translated marriage license to the immigraion office. They looked at all of them and then sent us outside to an office to have something typed. From there they sent us to another building to have a sponsor list checked. that person sent us back into the immigration office to the front desk person who then typed something on the computer and sent us back to the sponsor list office. She typed something then sent us back into the immigration office where they took all the documents and said that he should come back the next day, which he did and then..........

they said he needed an insurance form, which really meant a medical form. So Wesley went to the hospital to get checked, but they said they didn't do that check anymore and he had to go to a different place. He finally found the right place and got the medical form done. They said the results should be done in four days. So from 9 am to 1 pm he ran around like a crazy person. Now the problem is, his 30 visitor stamp runs out Saturday and we don't know if he needs to cross the border to get a new visitor stamp. Everything that we did cost money. Little things they never tell you. I will be glad when all this running around is done!

  1. I am so sorry. Hopefully this will all work out easily. God will provide. I will certainly send an extra prayer up for you two.

Glad everything else is settling down and you are getting in to a routine.

    Miss you lots.
